It’s about focusing on the needs of every individual and ensuring the right conditions are in place for each person to achieve his or her full potential. Our goal is to elevate individuals with disabilities lives beyond limits and labels toward more independent living through education, encouragement, support and inclusion — one person, one family, one community at a time..
Too often as a society we only see a disability and we write these individuals off as soon as we hear the word "disabled." |

Bridges empowers growth and community connection, which both enhances life for the individuals they serve and expands understanding among communities where we all live and work. |
Sadly, Texas is currently one of the most underfunded states when it comes to serving people with disabilities. In fact, Bridges regularly get calls for help from all over the state — and a few more from elsewhere in the country. It’s both an honor and a challenge.
We need
your
help to
transform
A life
People are beginning to see how effective the Bridges solution is, yet the organization simply can’t meet expanding needs and local client commitments without ongoing funding from generous corporate partners and individuals along with the many selfless volunteers who support the mission.
BECAUSE HAVING A DISABILITY SHOULD NOT KEEP
ANYONE FROM living a fulfilled life.
“We change the world not by what we say or do, but as a consequence of what we have become.” -David R. Hawkins, renowned psychiatrist
